A R Hari has studied the science of Vaastu for over a decade. His studies led him to conclude that Vaastu is a full-fledged science.

He formulated a theory, which was published, in his first book, The Amazing Science of Vaastu. The theory was formulated based on the sizable evidence he had gathered by a study of more than a thousand dwellings.

Hari believes that if Vaastu was scientific in its approach, then it must be able to stand on its own strength and not rely on astrology or rituals where one's belief is of paramount importance. His theories are presented in his books, which is a complete departure from the other books available on the subject. It makes no reference to religious beliefs, astrology and rituals while explaining the rationale behind Vaastu.

It is his objective and scientific approach to Vaastu that makes him an authority on the subject.
